Driver Requirements:

Minimum driver age is 25 years. If driver is between 21 and 24 years old driver must pay a young driver surcharge of EUR 10.00 per day. Call office for arranging. Maximum driver age is 70 years.
Additional Driver: With the consent of the renter, the vehicle may be driven by other persons. 
Driving license: 3 years according to the drivers age and driving license issue date.
DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE WRITTEN IN ENGLISH OR LATIN ALPHABET CHARACTERS.

What do I need to book a car?

You can choose from 3 payment methods for booking. Payment in cash upon receipt of the car, payment by bank card or payment from a bank account. Also, your details (full name, phone number and other data for contacting you) are filled in the booking form.

Is it possible to book a car a couple of weeks before the rental?

Yes. It is better to book a car in advance, including a couple of weeks before the expected rental date. Two weeks before the rental period, there is a fairly high probability that the car you need will be available.

Can I book a car at the airport upon arrival?

Theoretically, this is possible if the car you need is available for the period you choose. However, it will not be possible to pick up the car immediately upon arrival without prior reservation. Car rental is carried out only with a preliminary reservation made at least one day before the start of the rental.

Is it possible to book a car of a specific model, color and year of manufacture?

Reservations are only accepted by car class and not by car model. Specific car models are subject to availability at the time of rental.

If I booked a car a month before the required date, can I be sure that I will receive it?

After booking the car, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail (voucher). This ensures that you receive the car on the day of the rental. However, remember that when booking, it is guaranteed to provide a car of the selected class, and not a specific model (for more information, see the previous question and answer).

I have booked a car. Can I contact a representative of the rental company to clarify the details of the meeting?

Yes, of course. The voucher in the lower left corner contains the contact details of the employees (Viber/WhatsApp) so that you can contact them directly with any questions.

Plans have changed and I want to cancel my reservation. What is refund and cancellation policy?

1. We accept cash and all credit cards and debit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies – such as American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard / Mastercard, Visa. All credit cards and debit cards must be in the name of the driver and have to be presented at the beginning of the rental period.

2. At the time when the customer makes the booking of the relevant car in Cyprus, Bibika LTD will make a pre-authorization to cover the excess amount for insurance purposes, pre-authorization amount would according to the type of the car on the credit and/or debit card of the customer.

3. Bibika LTD will VOID the pre-authorized amount to the customer when he returns the car to the same great and/or excellent condition he recognizes that he receives it.

4. Pre-pay Terms And Conditions:

a) 100% pre-pay:
Customers may cancel a 100% prepaid booking and receive a full refund provided Bibika LTD is advised 3 days prior to pickup date. For cancellations of rentals with less than 3 days notice, a refund of 50% of the voucher value will be made.
No refund for cancellations of rentals with less than 24 hours.
b) 10% Pre-Pay:
No refund 

What cards are accepted and not accepted?

Accepted : American Express, Diners Club, Euro Card, Master Card, Visa.

Not Accepted: Pre-paid credit cards, Laser, Maestro, debit, or Switch cards. Make sure you have enough limit to cover the excess. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, we may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

If I want to get a car a few hours later than the agreed deadline, do I have to pay something extra?

It is possible to pick up the car later than the agreed deadline for several hours. However, please note that in this case, it is possible to get a car only at a time agreed in advance with the employees of the rental company, since they do not always have the opportunity to provide a car at any time convenient for the client. To change the time of delivery or return of the car, contact the manager of the rental company. The contact details of the employees (Viber/WhatsApp) are indicated in the lower left corner of the voucher.

Can you deliver the car to my address?

Free in Larnaca Airport & Within Larnaca City limits (within working hours) and available outside City limits for an extra charge. Outside working hours, within Larnaca Area extra 25 Euro charge apply for Delivery and Collection.

What if I want to extend the car rental period?

Should you wish to extend your rental beyond the agreed date of termination, then the express consent of the renter should be obtained. It is important that the company’s branch is informed immediately so that insurance coverage is extended.

What additional services can I order?

I have booked a car. Will they contact me on the eve of the lease?

Usually, our company’s employees contact you on the eve of the rental via messenger or by phone number specified in the order to inform you about the meeting procedure at the airport or other place of pick-up of the car. Please note that the voucher in the lower left corner contains the contact details of the employees (Viber/WhatsApp) so that you can contact them directly if you have any questions.

What are the limitations and restrictions?

Driving into the North part of Cyprus is not allowed and no insurance cover is provided.

Is fuel included in the rental price?

Fuel is not included in the rates.

What are the types of insurance and general principles for all types?

More about types and rates of insurances read here. All insurances exclude damage caused by driving on any loose surface roads. Any damage thus caused will be client’s responsibility.

What expenses can I incur when renting a car?

The price of the tariffs does not include refueling, paid parking, toll roads, fines, repair of wheels and tires of the car, damage to the bottom of the car, damage to mirrors, car windows and additional equipment, as well as taxi costs, towing the car, replacement of car keys and other expenses incurred by the tenant during the operation of the car. Also, the risks of the tenant depend on the chosen insurance. You can see the types and cost of insurance on the page of the selected car.

What is the minimum car rental period?

The minimum car rental period is 1 day.

From what time does the day of rent count?

The rental day is calculated from the moment the car is rented. I.e., for example, if you took the car at 14:00, then the day will expire the next day at 14:00.

Is it possible to rent a car for 3.5 days?

Yes, you can. Only the rental price will be at least 4 days in advance.

We have several drivers. Is it possible to issue a lease agreement for all of them?

Yes, it is possible. This service is usually paid. You can specify the cost of the service on the page of a specific car. The name of this service is “The second driver in the contract”.

Is it allowed to smoke in a rented car?

Smoking is prohibited in cars.

Is it possible to get a car without making a deposit?

Yes, you can make a reservation with payment upon receipt

In what form will I have to return the car?

The car must be returned in the same condition as you received it, with the same amount of fuel. Otherwise, you will need to pay for the car refueling service. Cars are available for rent in their pure form. If, upon return, the external condition of the car makes it difficult to inspect it, then the inspection is carried out only after washing (at the expense of the tenant).
